It's been long in waiting, but I finally have an announcement about my academic career.
On October 1, I began a National Institutes of Health (NIH)-sponsored K99/R00 postdoc position at Penn State. The K99/R00 grant provides an NIH-backed development path (K99 phase) to full researcher independence (R00 phase).
It's an understatement to say, I really welcome this extensive, competitive award as an affirmation of my past research and future project plans.
I'm also eager to share about my new professional website, coryanderson.org Its design provides multiple ways to browse/search research content, offers brief and easy to digest summaries of publications, and links to full content.
I plan to continue developing this site as I explore ways to respond to professionals' and researchers' information needs.
To that end, one new undertaking is a new blog, "As Well As: Addendums That Redefine." It will provide timely, fresh interpretations on issues affecting plain people. Recent posts focus on the plain people and the 2024 presidential race, reinterpreting the "Amish forgiveness" narrative after a Wisconsin-based harassment case, and insider updates on a religious infringement case involving Harvard Law School's religious freedom clinic.
I’m so glad to hear about your new position. Finally! I will look forward to hearing more about your role.
